Joel Dubin provides a step-by-step walkthrough demonstrating how visualize a B-Lymphocyte using Cinema 4D and X-Particles.

Joel uses the X-Particles xpTrail and xpSkinner objects to create the basic shape for the B-Lymphocyte, and then adds texture by baking the Ambient Occlusion to a vertex map used in both the Diffusion and Color channels. He adds Subsurface Scattering for a waxy look, and uses Visible Light to create an environmental fog.
